How It Works

How to know if resin is fully cured?

To test if resin is fully cured, use tweezers to touch an inconspicuous spot on the earring. If the surface feels sticky at all, place earrings under UV/LED light for another 3-5 minutes and then recheck.

How can uncured resin be cleaned off skin and work surfaces?

Use rubbing alcohol on a cloth to remove uncured resin.

What are some design tips for best results?

See examples in the gallery for ideas. Consider which elements could be a focal point, place those in the center or allocate more space to them.

Will the resin harden with time?

This type of resin must be exposed to UVI light to set (cure). This means the kit is stable as packaged. Also, until you cure the resin, the earring embellishments are manipulable.

It's tricky to keep the earringls level and work surface clean, any suggestions?

Use the lid of the kit canister as a tray to hold the earring findings while assembling, decorating, and curing the resin.
